'Father of pendrive' backs Pakatan for a better nation

Electronics Corporation chief executive Pua Khein Seng, who is
well-known as the 'Father of the Pendrive', has thrown his support
behind Pakatan Rakyat ahead of polling day on Sunday.
Pua, one of the inventors of the USB flash drive, has kicked off a series of campaigns for Pakatan since he returned to Malaysia yesterday.
Currently residing in Taiwan, Pua (right) said he never gave up his Malaysian citizenship and decided to come back to vote for a better future in this election.
Met by Malaysiakini as he accompanied DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng at a ceramah in Gelang Patah, Johor, yesterday evening, Pua called on fellow Malaysians join him in voting for a change.
"As a citizen, the more capable you are, the more you should speak for the truth," he said.
"I let you, my fellow Malaysians to decide. And if I face any trouble for speaking out, just let it be!"
Interestingly, the last straw that firmed up Pua's mind to join the push for a change in government is the money politics that the 1Malaysia Club in Penang has been accused of carrying out.
"I changed my mind because I cannot stand with the Penang chaps anymore. Isn't there a 1Malaysia Club in Penang? Buying dinner for everyone, and so on... ?
"I think this makes our general election look really bad," Pua said.
'BN, we are not stupid!'
He said he felt terribly ashamed when Singaporeans poked fun at him on the injustices they pointed out taking place in Malaysia.
"Overseas, I meet a lot of Singaporeans who mock at the high level of corruption and inefficiency on the part of the government of Malaysia. I think it is time to make some changes."
Pua, who attended a Chinese independent school, also ridiculed the recent goodies for Chinese education announced by caretaker Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
"If you really want to do this, you should have just done it much earlier, not have waited until the election. Come on! We learnt the lesson when you conned us for the first time.
"When you con us for the second time, we will just let it be. But we will be the stupidest of the stupid if we let you to con us for more than 10 times!"
Pua also spoke at a ceramah with DAP Kulai candidate Teo Nie Ching yesterday evening. He will be campaigning for DAP Kluang candidate Liew Chin Tong tonight.
