56. DAP, please watch out for ROS

Why ROS handle the case of DAP in that manner?

There must be a director for that drama of ROS informing the DAP’s two representative to go to the ROS office on 18th April, 2013, two days before the nomination.

After issuing that notice for the meeting on 18th April, 2013, it was then postponed by ROS that the meeting was to be held after GE13.

Then suddenly ROS issued a letter dated 17th April, 2013 that DAP’s Central Executive Council was suspended for some reasons more than the party’s internal elections of December, 2012.  So it is in effect DAP was ‘headless’ and  ROS then informed EC that DAP could go forward for GE13.  That is a surprise indeed as how can a ‘headless’ body by such an important event.

Honestly without fear and favour, how do the ROS operate?  Even a single branch’s illegal meeting or illegal EXCO of an NGO can be de-registered after the proper notice was given after the NGO failed to comply with the ROS’s instruction which would need time to fulfilled.  Some NGOs are not even given notice of de-registration, after failure to comply with annual return.  So are there any guidelines for ROS to apply for mismanagement?  Or ROS would decide with own selective procedures?

If DAP had problem with the party’s central election, was DAP given time to make up for that departure?  If not, why not ?  April, 2013 is very fast for ROS to act against DAP after the alleged violation in December, 2012.

We already smelt a rat when ROS asked DAP to attend a meeting on 18th April, 2013 so suddenly.  The plot are already in the air.

So now after nomination, the dusts of the plot may have settled in that aspect as to avoid any backlash on the BN at the nomination.

What is there to stop the ROS to do something new on DAP just a few days prior to the polling day on 5/5/13 or 554?

So keep our fingers crossed and the whole episode of ‘headlessness’ could emerge anytime now before polling day and after the final results are known as avenue for  agitation simply partyless winners cannot be considered for the formation of Federal and State Governments.  The arithmetic of winners would be the focus on the polling night or thereafter.  Then the bargaining could commence.

Whatever and wherever, we need to be prepared for any eventuality.
